We had a great turnout and wonderful evening last week with Paloma Landry for her talk on Death and Dying. As a follow up to that talk, many of us decided to have a workshop where we can actually complete some of paperwork that we talked about.
So on Sunday, October 27, Paloma will again drive over from Murray Valley to guide us in discussing and completing essential paperwork relevant to helping make our death and dying wishes clear to family, loved ones, and caregivers. Paloma has a lot of experience with these things and has many insights and stories to share. She will also remind us of important things that we might forget about in our preparations, such as who has access to each of our accounts and where we should store this type of information. By taking care of this stuff now, painful and tedious as it may seem, our final wishes can be carried out without confusion or conflict.
The date is:
Sunday, October 27; 1-4 PM
our home – 2000 E Country Way, Fayetteville
phone – 501/940-9244
We will each leave the workshop with a folder of our draft and completed documents along with lots of suggestions for storing and discussing these with family. To offset our cost for the printed documents, please bring $8. I also encourage you to make a donation to Paloma for leading us in this endeavor.
In order to know the correct number of documents to print and order, please RSVP to me if you are coming. You are welcome to forward this email to and bring along anyone who might be interested. (It is not necessary that you attended any previous talks.)
I will be in retreat from Oct 5-20 but will check email periodically, so please let me know if you have questions. Take care, Sandy
